RRB Technician Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board has announced an Employment notification for the Technician posts. There are about 9144 vacancies available for the RRB Technician Vacancies. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/Diploma/ITI/SSLC qualifications are eligible to apply for RRB Technician Careers. Technician Grade I Signal:
- Bachelor of Science In Physics Electronics/ Computer Science / Information Technology/ Instrumentation from a recognized university OR BSc. in a combination of any sub-steam of basic steams of Physics Electronics/Computer Science technology fom a recognized University/Insitute (oR)
- Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or a combination of any of the above basic streams (oR)

Selection Process of RRB Technician Recruitment:
- The recruitment process shall comprise of the following stages:
- ComputerBased Test
- Document Verification (DV) and
- Medical Examination (ME)
CBT:
- Total Duration: 90 min & Total Questions: 100
- There shall be negative marking @1/3rd for each wrong answer.
- Normalization of marks will be done for CBT held in multiple shifts.
- The minimum pass percentage for eligibility: UR & EWS – 40%, OBC(NCL) – 30%, SC – 30%, ST – 25%.
- These percentages may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage.
- The marks scored in CBT shall be counted for shortlisting of candidates for further stages of this recruitment process.

Document Verification:
- Shortlisting candidates for DV and Medical Examination shall be done RRB-wise at the rate of 1:1 of the vacancies for that RRB. It will be based on their merit in CBT.
- Normalisation of marks will be done for CBTs held in multiple shifts. The shortlisted candidates for DV shall be informed through official RR websites as well as via SMS and email (to their registered mobile number and email ID) to download their E-call letters for appearing in DV.
- If two or more candidates secure the same marks, their merit position shall be determined by age criteria, i.e., an older person shall be given higher seniority.
- Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing the requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates
